The USD/TRY pair is trading around 43.0530 during the Asian session, while December inflation data released yesterday remains in the focus of market participants: according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TürkStat), the annual rate fell to 30.89% from 31.07%, continuing a slowdown trend since May 2024, although the Independent Experts Group (ENAG) is confident that it was not lower than 56.14%.
